Sewage Back-up in New Lebanon

A bed and breakfast in New Lebanon suffered a small sewage loss in one of the bathrooms. The residence was in the middle of remodeling so there wasn't any bathroom fixtures to be cleaned. SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties was called to come and remove the contaminated material which included tearing out 4 feet of the drywall from the floor and up. The subfloor plywood was also removed as it was soaked all around. Black water made its way through the cracks and into the insulation that was under the floor in between the joists. All the insulation was removed. The crew on this job finished with disinfecting everything exposed to the sewage.
