Clay Water Mess

This was an interesting job cleaned up by SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties. A water main break after some rain caused water to back up into the utility room of this house. The ground water had a lot of clay mixed in and after a while of it sitting on the floor, it caused it to thicken as seen. Photos shown are in the basement. Notice in the first picture all the brown mud looking stuff on the floor. There was about 2 inches of it in some areas. This was no job SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties couldn't handle! Crews cleaned up the mess and made necessary flood cuts around the room in order to dry out the area to prepare for reconstruction.
