Restoration in Copake

This is another home that suffered a severe water loss. Water damaged several parts of this home from the kitchen to the living room, and bathroom. SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties was called to fix this disaster and we started with removing all wet and damaged materials from the house. After that, we were able to bring in drying equipment to dry the place out. Once we began demo in the place, the deeper we got with the floor the more we were noticed several layers of wood on top of each other. The plywood got so wet that it started breaking into pieces making it difficult to remove. That was no problem for SERVPRO! We were able to remove it all right down to the floor joists so that we could replace all sub flooring and then hardwood flooring. We also had flood cuts to repair and new paint job throughout the house.
