Major Cleanup in Round Top, NY

In the summer of 2015, SERVPRO was called to a Greene County home in Round Top because of a strong human feces odor.  Upon arrival we quickly realized that the basement was full of junk which meant we needed to clear out the basement before we could locate the problem.  We discovered that their sewage pipes had been leaking, resulting in a good inch or two of sewage spread out throughout the entire basement floor.  It took one week to clear out the basement, mop up the sewage, and using our truck mounted extractor deodorize the house.  At the time of completion, SERVPRO of Columbia Greene had successfully made the house safe to live in again.
