Flooded Basement

This photo shows a basement that flooded a few inches. The customer called SERVPRO pf Columbia & Greene Counties to come extract the water and dry it out. Flood cuts were also made around the room and replaced by SERVPRO.

Clay Floor

Here is an interesting photo of a house that had a broken water main that expelled a lot of water with clay onto the floor. At least a couple inches was left behind in the area. SERVPRO was able to remove it all as well as wet material to begin drying and reconstruction.

Fallen Ceiling

This is a master bathroom in a house that faced severe water damage. Notice how the drywall has given out due to the weight of the wet insulation and drywall itself. This entire bathroom was gutted out by SERVPRO including most of the house.

Wooden Waves

In this photo you can see the damage to the hardwood flooring. So much water sat and soaked into this floor that it warped and moved wherever it could go. Looks like waves! This entire floor was removed along with the damaged sub floor underneath.

Indoor Ice Sculpture

This was a water loss over this cold winter that left behind a nice ice formation on the window from the ceiling to the floor. Water ran for quite some time on this job. The ice wasn't the only problem in this house.. Water made its way throughout about half of the entire house starting from the second floor bathroom. It spread out damaging the floor in the upstairs kitchen and living room area and came though the floor down into a bedroom and master bathroom. The entire damaged area was gutted on the first floor down to the studs. Upstairs was salvageable for the most part except for the flooring and some drywall that was cut out. SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties completed there part of the job by removing anything that was water damaged and was in charge of drying the entire wet area.

Basement Flood in Ancram

This home experienced a lot of heavy rain over a long period of time causing the basement to flood. The water seeped in throughout the foundation coming in from around the whole house. The homeowner called SERVPRO of Columbia & Greene Counties to come assess the situation to find several inches of water on the ground that needed to be extracted immediately. After the water was removed they were able to begin making flood cuts on all of the walls in the basement to remove wet drywall that they later replaced. The flooring also was removed and replaced by SERVPRO to porcelain tile. The homeowner also had to have an excavation company come in a redo the entire drainage system around the house so this wouldn't happen again. SERVPRO helped make it "Like it never even happened."
