Mitigating a Water Loss in Hillsdale, NY

Here we had a sewage back up in Columbia County residential home that took place in the town of Hillsdale New York.  When we arrived there was a slight odor, which is surprising due to the fact that most sewage back ups have a very strong foul odor.  That odor dissipated when we removed the carpets, and our removal included more than just the carpets.  We also removed the bottom of the drywall, the pads under the carpets, the vanity, and the base trim.  It took our team of four guys a total of four days to mitigate the damages and make it sanitary in the entire basement floor which consisted of six rooms.  After we had finished with the mitigation of damages, the home owner was left with a blank canvas to start over again.
